Weʼve raised £5,466 to help Paradise Park my home and workplace for nearly 50 years. We are really struggling so please support me in my silly quest.

Story
Many of you that know me well will know I put everything into Paradise Park, We don't ask for anything much just the wonderful visitors who keep us going. This year has been bad for so many and I feel sorry for all effected and the wonderful NHS staff doing a sterling job. I have to concentrate on the fantastic birds and other animals we care for here some of which are so rare that we keep important populations ready to repatriate when possible in the future.
The staff are brilliant and turn out in all weathers to do their lovely but sometimes difficult job. We need 10 staff in each day to care for all our charges with food costs that would make you squirm. There have been so many wonderful donations coming in every day and it is hard to be needing to ask for this support and felt that I needed to do more to make the point I am doing my bit.
So here we have it either a Mohican or a Reverse Mohican is on the cards following a Facebook poll. February 1st the shave will happen with possible extra bits that can be upsold for huge amounts. I will keep hair like the final cut until April 14th the day Bird Paradise opened in 1973.

3 years agoHi All you lovely supporters, Well we are open again and very pleased to be seeing visitors here at the Park again. The total raised here is £5456 and with other donations I have had separately the grand total is about £6500. What a wonderful amount for me making a fool out of my hair to help support Paradise Park. You will be pleased to know that I do not intend to do it again unless someone comes up with an equally silly thing that would work. THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH FOR THE DONATIONS! Nick Xxx

3 years agoHi there you marvellous people! Tomorrow it all comes off and I am going to be very pleased to be rid of the itchy beard and silly hair. So far you have donated £5316 which is Fantastic. Please share out our posts on Facebook so as many people get the chance to see me do the final shaveup. WOW! We made the target today with my St.Pirans hair doo! Thank you all so much for your support, I am sticking it out now till the 14th April the parks 48th birthday when I will be shaving the whole lot off. Thank you so much! Xx
