I have been given the incredible honour this year of not only running, but also hosting and commentating at speedrunning's most celebrated event of the year, Summer Games Done Quick 2023. The event takes place from May 28th - June 4th.

Following it's new skips found earlier this year, I'll be showcasing Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes on Normal difficulty, in person in Minneapolis. I'll also be reading out donations during the opening hosting session, commentating for Shasta's run of Klonoa: Door to Phantomile, and talking on a panel about blindfolded speedrunning.

I've always said that the first time I ever got accepted into a GDQ event, I wouldn't do so as a remote runner, I would fly from the UK to the US to do it properly live. This page has been set up for the community that loves this game and who wants to help me with the travel and hotel costs so that I can do this beloved speedrun proud in person.

I'll be hosting a 24hr fundraising stream on Sunday 30th April to encourage donations and to celebrate this achievement with the community over at twitch.tv/nickrpgreen

£200 - Photo album of my time at SGDQ: I'll be getting a full album of photos and share them all publicly

£400 - For my final Twin Snakes run, both Snake and I will wear a Tuxedo. Should this incentive be agreed and accepted for SGDQ, I'll also wear a Tux for my SGDQ run

£600 - Livestreams from SGDQ: Minimum of two streams, hopefully at the times I'd usually stream on Tues/Thurs. Show you around, interview people, show off the arcade etc.

£800 - Learn Metal Gear Rising Next: Will learn and submit a run of MGRR Any% (NG+) Hard after SGDQ

£1000 - Full Video Diary of my time at SGDQ: Will take as many videos as I can to create a proper diary, properly edited and uploaded to YouTube
