I've raised £3000 to 1st Annual: Help a Musician Fund. Raising Funds for Therapy for Nick Sales of Heritage Opera

The 5th January, 2020, will mark a year since our dear friend Nicholas Sales suffered a sub-arachnoird brain hemorrhage during a rehearsal for a concert.
For many months, Nick's condition was critical and during this time he underwent many serious brain operations.
His partner Sarah Helsby Hughes and family have been at his side throughout. Nick pulled through a seemingly endless round of life-threatening episodes and a few months ago he was moved to a rehabilitation unit in Tunstall.
For many weeks Nick was unable to speak, eat or move very much. Happily, this situation is now changing and Nick has begun to regain some speech, a degree of control over his body and he is developing his ability to eat. Sarah has discovered that various therapies are very beneficial in helping Nick to recover. These include Neurological Music Therapy, Equine Therapy, Speech and Language Therapy and Hydrotherapy.
Here at Flat Pack Music: Heather, Joe, Nikki and Serenna would like to raise money to help Nick to access these more easily.
On 5th January, 2020 they are going to run the Wirral Way Half Marathon to raise funds for this purpose. This would be a wonderful way to help Nick on his road to making a full recovery and we would be very grateful for any contributions towards this fantastic cause.
Not only is Nick a wonderful musician, and a true friend, he is one of the kindest and most generous men you will ever meet and a more worthy cause you will not find.
