I've raised £500 to help assist those in the city of Lisbon, Portugal who are living in poverty by repairing and rehabilitating community infrastructure.

Organised by Nicola Day
Working in conjunction with the Institute of Civil Engineers I have been given the opportunity to volunteer in the city of Lisbon in Portugal. Work includes the repair and rehabilitation of community infrastructure where poverty is a real issue. Tasks may include installing essential things such as water and electricity supply as well as the repair and up-keep of buildings.
Being partially funded by the ICE means my costs have been reduced, however I am fundraising to raise the additional costs i.e. flights and material costs for the construction and renovation project itself.
