I've raised £2024 to protect wildlife and STOP illegal poaching in Zambia. I'm WALKING 2,024 miles this year for Musekese Conservation...

Musekese Conservation is a charity operating in Kafue National Park, Zambia. They're on a mission to reduce the impact of illegal wildlife poaching, deforestation and habitat loss. This is no mean feat – Kafue is one of the biggest Parks in Africa. At 22,500 sq kilometers, that’s roughly the size of Wales!
Musekese recruit, train and deploy teams of men & women rangers to follow, track and apprehend poachers. To put 'big game' poaching in persepctive, there used to be rhino in Kafue – I saw them as a child. Despicably, they've been poached out of existence for their horn. A similar fate may befall elephant if they are not closely protected.
A key objective of the anti-poaching teams is to locate and remove thousands of illegal wire snares, which indescriminately maim and kill animals. Imagine elephant with only part of a trunk - the other part lost pulling out of a snare. Or a lion with a lower limb virtually severed, leaving them permanently crippled and in pain.
Keeping this show on the road is expensive - I am helping them, with your support.
I am walking 2,024 miles in 2024. Although I'm pretty fit post-chemo, I work full-time, so it is tough. I will complete the 2024 jackpot by 1200 midnight on New Year’s Eve. Please join me by donating, spreading the word and sharing this link!
