I’m absolutely heartbroken to say my beautiful mum Nicky has passed away. She is one in a million, and the best mum I could have ever asked for.

Hers was a life of putting others before herself, with acts of kindness, her work in parish ministry and prison chaplaincy. She has had an incredible impact on so many people’s lives.

The last few months have been so challenging for her but she has always been at peace with whatever the outcome was from her treatment, even if this feels so cruel to us right now. Holding hands with me and her wonderful sister Penny, she empowered her strength onto us right until the end.

She has asked that donations at her funeral go to the following charities:
