Story
Nicky Watts, Joe Glentworth and Lucy Critchlow are doing a fundraising swim for South Yorkshire Refugee Law and Justice. SYRLJ is a tiny charity helping refused asylum seekers to set up their own fresh claims for protection. The charity works in partnership with asylum seekers and gives honest advice about any chance for a new case. They support them to prepare claims or refer to solicitors where possible. Many clients are destitute and if they can put in a new claim they will be able to get basic subsistence and accommodation from the Home Office again. There is huge demand for advice and all donations make a massive difference to keep the service running.
