Story

Help For Aaron.

Just 2 days after his 22nd Birthday my lovely nephew, Aaron, had an accident in which he broke his neck and suffered extreme spinal cord damage. This unfortunately means that Aaron is now paralysed from the neck down, so has lost the use of his arms and legs. Through the extraordinary work of the Plymouth hospital ITU team coupled with his own self determination a transfer to his local hospital was possible where he now waits for a Transfer to a Spinal injury unit. His parents have set up a fundraiser because the road ahead for Aaron is long, tough and unfortunately expensive .The money raised though this SPONSORED HEAD SHAVE will go towards Aaron's future and making his life as comfortable and as normal as possible, helping fund equipment, resources and care. He has the determination but needs your support.

Aaron grew up with my boys and is Bria's cousin. His wonderful parents and brother are devoting so much energy into caring for him and I just want to do something to help. I can't imagine what I am going to look like with NO HAIR!! Colouring, cutting, styling and generally having to manage my often mad hair has been a lifetime's work for me - so, I'm hoping that the entertainment value for everyone else of seeing it come off will have you all donating like crazy, and that we can smash the £1000 target.

The deed will take place at The Plough Inn, Brabourne Lees on Sat 21st Oct 2017 from 4pm - 7pm. There will be live music courtesy of Clive Live, and it would be great to see anyone there who lives close enough to come. Rest assured, video evidence will be on the internet for those further away who want to see what their sponsorship has done!

Thank you in advance for your generosity and support.
