Story
The Lifeways Carers Café was set up 5 years ago to give support to carers in the community. It offers respite, a listening ear, advice and information within a relaxed atmosphere. There are over 7 million carers in the UK but we all know somebody caring for someone else be it family or friends. It provides speakers, entertainment, trips, outings and afternoon tea. Carers and the cared for benefit hugely from the support the café gives, but it costs money to facilitate and provide this vital service.
