I have always enjoyed horse riding and since my husband bought me my own 3 years ago i have challenged myself with different areas of riding, such as jumping and showing. As i struggled with my new horse who is a welsh section d who had serious attitude problems, i never gave up on him and we worked through the issues such as loading in the trailer.

At the beginning of this year we thought we would give endurance riding a go, we'll just do some local pleasure rides and see how he enjoys it, i thought to myself.... It turns out he loves it, this sport has transformed him, so much so that after doing several competitive rides at Novice level we have qualified for the National Championships of Endurance which is held in Wales 29th/30th September. Tallie and i have to cover 48km within a specified time and speed, why do i need to fundraise you ask? It is to help with the costs of travelling him to and from the venue, to stay over at the venue for the 2 nights and to help with costs to get him some water boots for after the ride to help cool his legs down.

I am so so proud of how well Tallie has competed in his first season this year and it would mean so much to me if you the public could help, there are a lot of charities out there asking for cash, but if you could spare your change in your pocket it would go such a long way.
