So I'm 41and single mum with 3 amazing and beautiful children 19,15 and 2.

So as many of you know its been a tough 16 months fighting bowel cancer.

Unfortunately this has spread to behind my eye and forehead.

This is apparently rare and with no guarantees of the outcome so even though I will continue to fight it I need to think about the future.

I've worked dammed hard as a single mum all their lives but unfortunately things like insurance were luxury items i couldn't afford.

Ive now retired and its hard to survive with a smile on my face not knowing that in any unfortunate twist of fate that my children won't be provided for.

I dont want to feel like I'm begging for your help but I've been asked to write from the heart.

Its the toughest time in the world knowing there's uncertainty surrounding the possibility that I won't be able to provide for them.

Thank you all for your support and love so far and we had an amazing summer making memories but thats stepped up a gear and i need your help in making securities now if at all possible.
