My name is Soohie and I am a Senior Section member within Merseyside. I have been chosen to represent Girlguiding North West England in an international trip to Armenia in Summer 2016.

We plan to travel at the end of July and stay for two weeks. Our party will consist of three leaders and Senior Section members, aged between 14 and 17. The main aim in this trip is to continue the community action of previous Girlguiding trips where teams worked to build Guiding in this country. During our time in Armenia, we will be participating in an international camp, and also plan to help with development of Girl Guides in Armenia by community action and cultural exchange.

In order to participate in this trip, I am required to fundraise £1,200. This will cover flights, and accommodation as well as giving us additional funds to purchase resources needed to teach activities and to buy equipment we can donate to the Armenian Guide groups such as good quality sleeping bags and tents.
