Northern Ireland currently has the highest suicide rate in the whole of the UK. It is a harsh realisation that each person you pass by on the street has been affected by suicide, knows someone battling a mental illness, or is personally suffering.

We need help. We need more training and education in schools, in the workplace, at home. We need to be taught that it is OK not to feel OK - and that there will always be someone to help us when the world becomes too dark. We need to know that suffering in silence is not the answer
