Huggy- James Hutchinson

On 21st May, while watching his youngest son play cricket, Huggy had a seizure. Paramedics were called and Huggy was taken to the JPH . After MRI, CT scans and further testing he was diagnosed with a brain tumour. Everyone’s worst nightmare.

Within 24 hours the Hutchinson’s life was turned upside down, not knowing what the future was to hold. In true Huggy style he remained upbeat and positive and ready to face the next hurdle!

He underwent surgery at addenbrokes 4 weeks later, where the OP was considered a success with the tumour being sent for testing.

Results showed that the tumour is malignant and further treatment of radio and chemo therapy is now needed over the next few months, initially meaning daily trips to N and N for radiotherapy then a course of chemo for 6 months.

Huggy as you all know him has been a pivotal part of the Kirkley and pakefield football club giving up endless hours week in and week out to help support the club and kids. He is a fun loving, happy, funny and incredibly brave man! He would do anything for anyone to help them out.

At present he has had to give up what he loves the most, football.

He is currently unable to work or drive until he is fully recovered.

Jayne and the boys are with him 24/7 to ensure he has everything he needs, as and when he wants it, and have been so strong through every step of the way.

So i have set up this page to reach out to everyone to help them through the next few months, no matter how big or small every little helps. They have been overwhelmed with all of your support so far .
