Between August - November I will be collecting second hand clothing items to hand out around homeless people in the Glasgow city centre. Last year we collected enough that we were also able to hand out bags in Edinburgh. The first year we did this we handed bin bags of items out, which made it really difficult for ourselves to hand out and for the people receiving the items to carry them about.

Last year we gathered some money through friends to buy backpacks which made things much easier. So this year I would like to raise some money to buy bags, toiletries and underwear. I plan to run this page until early November, when I will then buy the items. All items bought shall be documented on the event page with receipts shown so people know where their money is going to. If anyone has any questions please let me know.

I have set the target as £200 which would allow us to buy 40 backpacks, if we could raise more than that it would be amazing and would allow us to also buy toiletries, underwear and food and water. If you would rather buy things yourself and donate them, please see details of the collection on the event page.

Any donations, big or small, will be greatly greatly appreciated and will go towards making the lives of people living on our streets that wee bit easier.
