Hi guys! People who may know me will know that I have a long mop of hair on my head.. That stays in a bun 99% of the time.. I've decided that I am going to cut my hair, and with this I am going to donate 12" of my hair to the princesses Trust. Whilst doing this I would like to raise money also for a different cause, Welsh air ambulance. here's a little reason as to why.. On May the 15th 2019, I received a phone call to say that my mam had suffered a cardiac arrest.Jason (mams partner, and miracle) began CPR for 8 minutes before  4 paramedics, 2 first response, and 3 air ambulance Dr's attended the scene, after being defibrillated 4 times the air ambulance team were able to stabalise mam after 31 minutes of no oxygen, they then sedated and ventilated her in the house then made journey to morriston in the ambulance with her. My mother then lay in a medically induced coma, the Dr's/nurses in ITU Morriston worked tirelessly to wake her safely and then finally achieved it on the 7th day (longest week imaginable). As soon as mam started to come around, we could tell she was going to be back to her normal self in no time (telling us off for worrying, eating and drinking nothing but mint choc chip ice cream + bitter lemon) mam began walking around 4 days after waking, and as soon as her voice came back.. We knew she was here to stay. Without the air ambulance team and paramedics, and without the care mammy received in Morriston hospital in ITU, CCU and ward C, my mam would not be here today.(ill be doing another charity event this year for Morriston cardiology!!) So after all of this. I would like to give back to them in any way or form I can, so please.. If you could all help me raise money toward my hair chop✂️. My hair will be donated to the little princesses Trust and made into a wig, and all money donated will be given to Welsh air ambulance, My big chop will take place on 26.3.20 @ 11am,in Jessica's hair salon, and the chop will be done by Ashley!
