Hi everyone , never done anything like this before but im trying to help an eldery man a friend of my partners to get by , to get food pay some bills etc i know we all have problems at times but this man has worked since forever never asked for any help off anyone or the goverment towards anything 16 months ago he started blacking out behind the wheel at work so he took him self off to the doctors to get check the doctor took his licence of him and told him he was unfit to drive and work. He always said he had to go and check cause if he hurt or killed anyone he could never forgive himself .. now hes got a thing on his heart to contact the hosptial if he ever blacks out again , waiting to hear about pacemarker and others thing that could help .. he been on the sick now 16 months now get £70 a week and the only help he gets is £1.90 off councial tax bill . He really struggling to pay £400 rent every two weeks plus electric gas and food, hes scared to go to his landlord and explain incase he gets kicked out then he have no home ... he hasnt really been eating hes lost so much weight thats its making him ill most of the time he got to choose between food heating gas or rent and goes without the rest hes a 60 year old man worked all his life And for the frist time in his life he went to a food bank and found it so hard .& even the other day he went to his local shop to ask for a paper round to help with some money ... i dont understand the goverment he paid his tax since he left school do everything by the book and the one time he needs a bit of help they do nothing .. so im just trying to raise some money to help him to pay some rent for a while put gas nd electric nd some food in his cupboard etc to help not to worry for a while please help what ever way you can it be much apprectived thank you x
