I've raised £1000 to fund my own Tessier Dual Sit Ski

3 years ago I got diognosed with EDS type 3, a connective tissue disorder which causes me to dislocate on a daily basis and live in pain.
For 12 years I have been a skier, exploring the mountains, wanting to become a fully qualified ski instructor and helping those who were disabled to ski with adaptive equipment, little did I know later in my life I would be skiing in the equipment I used to teach people in.
2 years ago I attended a local disabled ski club as I have always said the last thing I would give up is skiing. I knew there was equipment which could meet my needs and thought that this was my last hope to get back on the slopes. Within 6 hours over 3 months I was coming down the slope on my own. I tried a range of sit skis but I didn't fall in love with any until I tried a Tessier Tempo Dual Ski..... With more instruction on snow and more practice it means I can once again be independant, which I am desperate to do.
Sadly the Dual Ski was borrowing is part of another clubs kit which is over 100 miles away. It also means I cannot easily take it on holiday and spend time with it with my family on our annual winter and summer ski holiday and use it at other slopes.
This is why I am looking to raise £5000 to get my own kit. So far I have saved money to cover the majority of the sit ski but need help to raise the rest of the money before the end of the season (end of April!).
So please help me to get my own kit and get me back on the slopes, to pass on my knowledge of being in a skit ski to others and explore the moutians which I love to do.
Thank you so much,
Nicole
