We have all at some time in our life found Christmas a really difficult time. We take for granted everybody has a Turkey and that we can buy what we want for our children, but for some families it is the worst time of the year for them because debt makes it unbearable.

So, after finding myself in that same situation one Christmas and someone anonymously posting me some money to get by, I decided that I will help at least 2 families every Christmas who are in that same situation as I was.

So last year.... "A Christmas Wish" was born. 🧡

And an amazing £1250 was raised for "CAP" Christians Against Poverty & "Hope Coventry." CAP is a charity supporting people across Coventry in easing the debt they have. 💗

Hope Coventry work alongside CAP offering families "HOPE" when life has put them in the most horrendous situations down to often no fault at all of their own.

These families had given up every penny they had spare for years to try and get themselves straight and I want to remove that cloud that would never go away. 💗

Well, working alongside "Hope Coventry" I was able to do that last year funding 3 families that they had worked alongside closely for a few years and truly deserved our help. 💗

So, it was an absolute pleasure to help clear all 3 families of their debts...... like mine anonymously and to send them into Christmas for the first time in a while, debt free. 💗

So, this year I want to make it even bigger & better.......

By doing a 24hr Weldathon......

Yes, a 24hr Welding shift....

✔Start date/Time- 10th December 8am

✔Finish Date/Time-11th December 8am

✔Venue- Qualitig Premises.

So, for me....

My mission this Christmas is...

💪To raise £3,000 before 12/12!

This will help:

☆3 Families become debt free

☆Supply 15 Families with Christmas hampers

But..... My dream would be to reach £5000 as the extra £2000 would supply "Hope Coventry" & CAP with a "debt support worker" to offer needed on-going support to the people who really need their help over the next 12 months.

SO, WHAT AM I GOING TO DO?????

☆I have donated all my tips I have received in 2022 (£720)

☆And next weekend I will be doing a 24hr Charity WELDATHON on my premises, with 100% of everything I earn donated. 🤛👍

This will involve me working all the way through 24hrs! I hope to have a continuous live feed so people can see my progress throughout the day - and night! 🤗

I would love your support over the next week or so as I post daily on further plans leading up to the event next weekend 💗

But do you know what excites me the most about this?

That the families we help, will never know who helped them...

But they will go into Christmas knowing... "Someone had their back"💗💗💗

The way i see it is...These amazing people are doing a Marathon and just hitting a wall at 19 mile after doing such amazing work to reach that distance....now i want us all to put on our trainers and finish the last few miles for them....and complete what they have left💗

A Christmas dinner & Presents under the tree, you probably do not even give that a second thought... but imagine it being the one thing you want more than anything to give your family... but you can`t.

Let you be the reason that they can this year💗
