Sam has been an active member of scouting since he joined Beavers aged 6. He has had some fantastic experiences and made some great friends over the years.

After undergoing a tough selection process Sam has been chosen to represent his country as a member of the British Contingent attending the world scout Jamboree 2019.

Not only will Sam and his fellow scouts from around the globe experience new adventures, cultures and friendships the trip is an educational event that will bring together the worlds young people to promote peace, mutual understanding and develop leadership and life skills.

His fundraising efforts and team building prior to the trip are as important a part of the experience as the trip itself.
