I've raised £5000 to contribute to the medical expenses of a friend in a coma in Zimbabwe

Za lives in Zimbabwe, the 32 year old son of a close friend of mine. 15 years he was head-injured in a car crash. In June this year he collapsed and went into a coma, where he still is.
The health care system in Zimbabwe is not functioning as the Doctors and Nurses are on strike - they have not been paid for many weeks. So Za's mother, who is a care worker in the UK has had him admitted to a private hospital. This costs about £700/$900 per week plus medication, an amount that is way beyond what she can afford.
This, of course, echoes with our own experience 28 years ago when our son was head-injured from a motor-cycle accident. He was unconscious for 16 weeks and is still severely disabled. But in contrast to Za we have benefitted from the free National Health Service in the UK.
I am asking you to stand with me and contribute to Za's expenses, however much or little you can afford - in £, $ or Euros. I know him, his mother and three siblings and want to help them in any way I can. Will you please join me?
Thank you.
