We run a non-profit support group, called "Cauda Equina Spinal Cord Injury".

Cauda Equina is a severe medical condition of the spine, where there is critical compression applied to the spinal nerves. This results in varying levels of paralysis, severe pain and numbness. If this is not managed as an emergency, the condition will be life changing and life limiting. Sadly, this is the case all too often.

To us, supporting people with this condition is paramount. Whether this is signposting people to the best available support, or creating a supportive community so that members don't feel so isolated. In order to support all our members, we travel around the country to meet face to face where possible, as well as facilitating support groups.

We work alongside Spinal injuries Association, we also have a team of Legal Partners who understand CES. Also we have Hollister and Coloplast who specialise in Bladder and Bowel problems.

Now we are getting bigger as a group this is enabling us with a bigger voice to get Cauda Equina noticed more by the medical profession.

It goes without saying, that any donations, would be gratefully received, and go a long way towards supporting a cause so close to our hearts.
