Lydia and Nik will be running the Edinburgh Half Marathon in an effort to raise money for the Conscious the Edinburgh Mental Health Charity.

Since beginning university the effect that mental health has on peers, loved ones and the general public has become so much more apparent to both of us and so knowing a charity like Conscious exists to support a wide variety of people has become extremely important. We hope that by raising money for Conscious we can help them to reach their goals of promoting mental health and providing support to as many people as possible.

Conscious Edinburgh is an entirely student-led registered charity, which has two main goals:

1) To raise a significant amount of money for our chosen mental health charities

2) To promote mental health on University campus via our own initiative 'Conscious on Campus'
