So I've finally bitten the bullet & signed up to my first 10k! now, it's a challenge to even get me on the treadmill let alone running such a distance but I'll give it my best shot!

Krystie & I will be running the 10k on November 19th for two charities, splitting whatever we can raise equally between the two....

Firstly, November 26th 2016 will be 10 years since we sadly lost our lovely Grampy who had suffered with the heart breaking Alzheimer's Disease, so half of all money raised will go to the Alzheimer's Association!

Secondly, last summer our amazing Mum was diagnosed with an Acoustic Neuroma, a rare form of benign brain tumour of which the symptoms can often be tricky to detect & therefore often go undiagnosed. Luckily for us, Mum had some amazing treatment and has had a really successful outcome! But we have decided to also run for the British Acoustic Neuroma Association, in order to try and raise some money to help a little in funding research in to the prevention, early detection and successful treatment of such conditions.
