Story

Christmas time is a time for love and happiness. I want to give some love and joy to the 50 dogs living at the centre in Buckinghamshire. The money collected will raise money for bedding, blankets, toys and treats.

The goal is to ensure each dog has a Christmas present on Christmas.

If you wish to donate please donate by the 25th November. Santa will be visiting the dogs on the 2nd December.

SDR was formerly known as The High Wycombe & District Dog Rescue and Welfare Society. It was set up by local residents in 1963 to save the lives of stray, abandoned and unwanted dogs, as well as those impounded by the police. Since then they have successfully rehomed thousands of dogs and are well known for their no kill policy. SDR attempts to find suitable and loving homes for all the dogs in their care.

They receive no statutory funding of any kind, meaning all running costs and overheads are self-supported and self-financed. Their work would not be possible without donations from you! So dig deep and help this worthy cause.
