Story
I'm walking the City Hospice (formerly George Thomas Hospice) "Walk in memory of someone you love" 10k for £10k on 8th October in memory of my dad who lost his fight against cancer in January of this year. City Hospice gave so much support to my dad during the last months of his life offering specialist palliative care.
They provide an amazing service to those with cancer as well as their families offering care and support which continues even after you have lost a loved one.
Their services are completely free but they must raise more than £1 million each year to ensure they never turn a patient away.
