Meet Sophie. She has just turned three years old and has already touched so many of our lives here at Beachside Holiday Park.

On 26th May, after showing very minor symptoms, Sophie's family were told the devastating news that Sophie has Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia and was to be immediately transferred to Bristol Royal hospital for children, where her treatment would be initiated.

Sophie is an incredibly bright, happy, cheeky, loving girl, and despite the daily chemotherapy causing her sickness and hair loss, the numerous syringes of medicines, and the regular lumber punctures, bone marrow aspirates, blood transfusions and blood tests, her personality and that big, beautiful smile are always on show! She is a little fighter!

Sophie is just at the start of her two year battle with cancer and her and her family have had their world turned upside down by this horrible, indiscriminate disease.

Sophie's mum Nicola has already taken part in fundraising events for Cancer Research, but we wanted to raise money for Sophie and her family, so that they can enjoy family time together and create those all-important childhood memories.
