I've raised £150 to raise money for Snackpack Exeter, Children's Diabetes Charity.

Three years ago, Lottie was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes. She was in hospital for a week, learning how to count carbohydrates, work out insulin ratios and inject herself over 6 times every day.
We had brilliant support from the paediatric medical team at the hospital. It was second to none. Friends and their parents were wonderful. School, teachers and support staff were outstanding in their care.
But Lottie felt alone and isolated. We did not know any other children with Diabetes. She felt different and anxious. Then we discovered Snackpack.
Snackpack is an amazing charity, based around Exeter's RD&E hospital, that organises trips and activities for children with diabetes. It allows the children to meet others with the same condition, all of whom have to check their blood glucose levels before eating and sit out of activities at inconvenient moments waiting for their sugar levels to rise, and all of whom have varying worries and anxieties about their condition. Suddenly Lottie had friends who knew exactly how she was feeling. It has helped her to become the amazing, confident and strong young woman I am so proud of today.
On 15th October, 2017, I'm running the Great West Run, and I would love to be able to give something back to Snackpack. Therefore I would like to try and raise some money for them to be able to continue supporting children like Lottie, so they can keep on organising and subsidising trips for children with such a life changing condition.
If you feel you could spare a couple of pounds, or whatever you can afford, please consider making a donation. Thank you xx
