Our Destiny is 9. She suddenly found a lump in her armpit. Hoping this was part of a hormonal change our sister lauren took her daughter to have this investigated. Sadly the news lauren was given wasn't the news we all hoped for. Her little lady Destiny has got cancer. What she has is called rhabdomyosarcoma. This is a very aggressive form of cancer for anyone to deal with but a 9 year old child is horrific. She should be worrying about the boys at school. Who she's going to play with. What parties she's going to attend. School discos. Her hair and dressing up. Family gatherings. All of which sadly Destiny won't be doing. Some of you will remember a few weeks back we fundraised for our sister lauren who prematurely lost her baby several weeks ago. Exactly a week after lauren had burried her baby girl she sadly lost her mom. As if that wasn't enough for her and her family to deal with she then found out that her 9 year old little girl has cancer. Destiny begins her treatment this week. Her hopes and spirit are immensely high. She is such a fun loving grown up little 9 year old with a massive personality. She will sadly deal with the effects of her treatment which will include weight loss. Losing her eye brows and her lashes. She has said the doctors are going to cut off her beautiful long hair and they will make her her own wig. She truly is an inspiration. The effects of her immune system plummeting will cause Destiny a great amount of other battles. We are setting up this fundraising page in hope to build a pot of funds for destiny to be able to enjoy a few luxuries during what will be the most horrific time of her young life. Lauren will have to adapt destiny's bedroom to accommodate her daughter while she will be recieving chemotherapy. Destiny will be in hospital every week for the foreseeable future for 4 days a week. The few days when she will be at home are the days where she will want to feel most comfortable but obviously this comes at a price. Please fund
