'Gorgeous George' - what can I say .....
I have known him for just under a year - I am his ' dog - walker' !

George lives and breathes for the sea ..... that and rolling in the sand !

George needs unexpected immediate veterinary treatment for an aggressive growth that has appeared on his foot. His owner, Thelma , has been advised that George will need to have one toe removed to ensure the complete removal of all the growth.

George is already booked in for his surgery, I will be dropping him at the vets first thing Monday morning.

The veterinary costs have been estimated at between £550 - £800, depending on the length of time the surgery takes.

Thelma is devastated, George is her sole companion now and the idea that she will struggle to provide for him is a heavy burden.

George is a great dog, he lives for the moment and we could all learn how to enjoy the simple pleasures from him.
I feel its a privilege to spend time with him, time that Thelma doesn't get because she is unable to walk him. George is a large, boisterous lad and rather a handful. Thelma has had to rely on other people to walk George since the loss of her husband.

Thelma is lovely, a gentle lady who has had to sacrifice much recently, and most of those have been made to keep George happy.

I know as pet owners we are responsible for them, sometimes though, we just need a little help and kindness.

I am hoping that there is some out there and that we can help Thelma get George back on his feet - minus 1 toe of course !
