Hi All,

I have decided to donate my hair to a charity, while also raising some much-needed money for my best gal Nikki.

Nikki was diagnosed with Breast Cancer in December 2020. She has Hormonal PR+ and ER+ breast cancer. Grade 3 Invasive Ductal Carcinoma and DCIS with a high grade of ADH in her left breast.

Nikki had a double mastectomy in January but unfortunately, they were unable to clear the cancer and Nikki is now facing intensive chemo followed by radiotherapy and years of hormone treatments. The journey is far from over and as her friends we all want to support her in every way we can.

Due to covid treatments have been restricted and we have been raising money to help with medical bills. So far Nikki has had to pay for PET CT Scans, bone scans and private appointments. We are now hoping to raise money to help our girl get a wig and there will be more private appointment and checks that Nikki has to pay for following her treatment……yep the worlds gone mad we are having to pay to help our girl get better.

Nikki is devastated that she is going to lose her hair. Not only has Nikki lost both her breasts, but she has also had to come to terms with not being able to have a baby (due to her treatment) and now she is going to lose her hair. She has managed at find someone to make her a custom-made wig, but this journey has been anything but smooth and easy. Her emotional roller-coaster has been heart-breaking and I want to give my hair to someone in hope their search for a wig is much more positive during a difficult time.

Nikki doesn't need my hair, but I have more than enough hair to share. I am aiming to raise £1000 to help Nikki with medical costs and in return I will donate 12 inches of my hair to a children's charity that provides free real hair wigs to children and young people, up to 24 years, who have lost their own hair through cancer treatment or other conditions.

Nikki is one of my best friends and I owe her my whole life. Nikki is a full blown nutter and if you have ever met her, you will know exactly what I mean. She is the life of every party; she is that bad influence you always want around, she is hilarious, and she is kind. She is going through absolute hell right now, but she is strong and she is brave.
