    Story

Nikki has the chance to enter a 30 week program designed for those suffering mental illness to gain support, learn skills, receive on the job training and other essential tools to cope with and manage a healthy and proactive work/life balance.
Unfortunately she does not qualify for income assistance, Canadian disability insurance or employment insurance.
This leaves her very little options. She is unable to work and support herself and she is unable to get the help needed without taking time to utilize this program. It's a vicious circle. Each day is full of uncertainty and an ever worsening mental state.
We are hoping to help Nikki out by raising awareness for mental illness and funds for her to be able to pay bills and attend treatment. No one should have to choose between being healthy and paying bills. Unfortunately this is a reality for so many.
