I've raised £1000 to support Jaffray Care and help build a 'well needed' sensory garden for the residents. The more money raised the better the project will be.

Story

Hi I'm Nikki, the deputy manager of one of Jaffray Care's residential homes based here in Birmingham. We provide care and support to people with complex health needs and brain injury. Jaffray Care Society is a registered charity, therefore fundraising is extremely important to us especially at a time like this. Myself and Darren will be taking part in the Sutton Fun Run on Sunday 2nd June 2024 to raise money for Jaffray Care.

Darren has lived at his home with Jaffray for 15 years now and I have had the pleasure of working with him for almost 4 years. We all know the current climate is difficult for many and social care has taken one of the biggest hits but we always keep fighting to ensure the people in our care live a fulfilled and enhanced joyful life. Darren and his friends who live together at their residential home, have expressed their wish for a new sensory garden. As some of Darren's friends have sensory impairment and Autism, a sensory garden will provide comfort, tranquility and calming stimulation for them all. We are kindly asking our friends and family to donate as little or as much as you can so we can make this dream a reality. Any donations would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.
