At the age of 9 Hannah was diagnosed with a cancer brain tumour. Hannah underwent brain surgery chemotherapy and radiotherapy. The Brain rumour damaged Hannah's pituitary gland, she is on loads of tablets to keep her alive. In 2014 Hannah had to have a major back surgery because of scoliosis and had metal rods in her spine and 17 bolts. Her mum Mandy had said that Hannah's life started to be normal again until she felt her eyesight was not right in January 2017, and also coming up to 10 years cancer free.

On the 24th January Hannah had brain surgery tumour on the optic nerve, followed by chemotherapy. For 3months on Hannah's last chemo cycle she became very ill with acute heart failure and they found a blood clot on her heart.

After the blood clot Hannah had lost more vision. She had sight in one eye and her tunnel vision had become blurry. About 2 weeks ago was the day when Hannah Coffill had lost all sight in both eyes. Someone had then told Hannah's mum Mandy about a clinic in Berlin. Doctors in England said there is absolutely nothing they can do to help Hannah gain her sight back.. However, Berlin said they can help. One session is between 10 and 14 days and costs £10,000 each time. They said Hannah would need about 4-5 sessions so that makes a total of £40,000. Hannah has been described as ' Always Smiley And Happy' but the blindness has hit her hard .
