Story

Photina Thomas, an amazing wife, sister and aunty, and second mother and grandmother to so many of us, passed away on the 4 November 2023.

She was the most inspirational and loving woman. Her ability to see the beauty in every moment, to find joy in the simplest of things, and to radiate love and kindness without bounds left an invaluable mark on each of us.

She had idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis, a condition that results causing scarring and stiffness of the lungs. It is a progressive condition that has no cure, however there are now treatments available that try and slow the progression of the disease.

This disease did not only affect her, but also her brothers.

We therefore would like to support ongoing research and development of treatment into this condition.

All donations will be passed onto the Lung Research Fund number 9504 to aid this.

Please help us support this worth cause and help us improve knowledge and treatment of this devastating illness.
