I've raised £1980 to purchase a second hand minibus for the Ntimbanjayo School of Excellence in Tanzania

There are no ambulances in this rural part of Tanzania. So when children at the school are very sick with Malaria or if they get hurt they have to travel on very overcrowded public mini-buses or by motor cycle to get to the nearest hospital for treatment. We would like to be able to take them to hospital promptly and safely in a school mini-bus. We have nearly 200 children at the NMSE and 54 of these are sponsored by individuals and groups from Scotland, England, Spain, Japan and the USA. While a school bus would help to keep the children safe, it would also allow the school to provide a bus service to collect more day scholars thus guaranteeing the sustainability and future development of this community school.
