I am raising money for Ness Hedgehog Rescue by challenging myself to walk 200 miles during the summer holidays, come rain or shine. Karen (& Neil) run Ness Hedgehog Rescue single handedly, often having upto 40+ hedgehogs in their care during the spring & summer months. This involves rescuing adult hedgehogs who are poorly or injured, or are seen out in the day due to ill health as well as multiple hoglets, all of whom need regular feeding, day & night. I have seen first hand the amazing work that Ness Hedgehog Rescue do having treated & rehabilitated 3 hedgehogs from my own garden. As they rely solely on donations, I wanted to raise money & awareness of the great work they do.
