What is crowdfunding?

Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered nonprofit.

The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.

We need your support to help us continue in our mission: to improve mental wellbeing, reduce social isolation and promote a sense of purpose, achievement and community amongst vulnerable individuals through the power of the human-animal bond.

Like many small nonprofit organisations, Noah's A.R.T. has been hit hard by the coronavirus pandemic. Unable to run any services throughout the lockdown and beyond, we have had no income. However, we have continued to care for our much-loved therapy animals, pay all our costs, and have had to invest in making our centre COVID-secure. We are a small organisation with limited reserves, so this has had a huge impact on us.

The only way we can re-open and run our services sustainably is if we expand the space we have available to allow adequate social distancing. We aim to build three huts in the grounds of the community centre where we are based - one large therapy space and two smaller workshops, where our staff, volunteers and clients will be able to work, learn and engage with us safely.

Any amount you can spare will be hugely appreciated, and will help ensure Noah's A.R.T. can continue serving both vulnerable people and animals into the future. Thank you.

A huge thank you to everyone who has donated so far! The groundworks are well underway in preparation for the big build date of 4th November. We are now waiting on a quote to install electricity in the huts. The money raised will go a long way to ensuring they are safe, warm, welcoming and comfortable for use by our clients, volunteers and staff over the coming winter months.

BIG NEWS! Tameside council have finally approved planning permission for the huts! The build is scheduled for the 4th November. We are over the moon, as this means we will be able to expand capacity and also go ahead with a new project due to start February 2021. We just need to get the groundwork done before then. Everything raised so far will go towards the costs of this. Thank you so much to everyone who has contributed so far!
