Story
We are on a mission to raise £1,500 to create a beautiful outdoor summer house that will allow Noah to immerse himself in the wonders of nature while being protected from the elements.
Born with spina bifida, hydrocephalus, and just 2% of his brain, Noah navigates life using a wheelchair. His unique challenges make it crucial for him to stay warm and comfortable. He is homeschooled and has developed a deep love for learning about plants, where food comes from, and how it grows. More recently, he has expressed interest in woodworking and using tools, meaning this summer house would be used as a greenhouse to sow and pot plants as well as a repair shop where he can practice using a vice, hammer, chisel, screwdriver and much more.

Currently, he has a large plastic greenhouse that serves as his outdoor creative space; however, the loud plastic roof makes it difficult for him to enjoy his time there when it rains. There has also been some recent storm damage, causing panels to rattle, even when it’s just a little windy. An updated wooden cabin would not only provide him with a safe retreat but also inspire him to explore his passions for woodworking, gardening, and so much more.
Noah’s dream requires support to become a reality. The need for an outdoor space is not just about having a garden or a workshop; it’s about providing an opportunity for personal growth, mental health, and connection with nature. By creating this space, we can foster creativity, promote relaxation, and encourage a sense of accomplishment through hands-on activities.
