Hi, i am an undergraduate student who is struggling currently. I thought moving away from home for uni would be the best decision, boy was I wrong. I study full-time 4days per week with only 3 days left for work. I work part time as a catering assistant and I also work part time as a bartender. I have been struggling to make ends meet. I know some will say 'dont you get a student loan?', well let me explain my situation.

I recieve £475 per month for my loan, I work 15hours in my resturant job and 8hours in my bar job. My monthly income is £875, including the loan. My rent is £582 (why dont you get somewhere cheaper? This was the cheapest accommodation on campus). And including travel costs to work I am left with little to nothing for food etc. I dont get support from parents as my mum works night shift and she is also studying as well. She supports my brother and the house. Even if she could help me, her finances wouldnt allow.

I am too prideful to ask for help but last night i barely slept knowing that today is the day all bills are due. I am struggling more than anyone knows and im finding it hard to concertrate on studying for my exams. I try so hard to find jobs that pay well but most require me to be available whilst im at uni. My mental health isnt at its best at the moment, maybe in just too emotional but I just always feel sad and I cry alot because i dont know who to turn to or what to do. I am behind on my rent and bills by £1725. I know there are people who deserve money more than me. All i ask is abit of help and one day i'll make sure to pass it on.
