Weʼve raised £500 to Syrian refugee families.
- Funded on Sunday, 30th September 2018
Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered charity.
The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.
A few months ago I attended an event called Empowerful, and during the event we were exposed to the realities that the Syrian refugees face. I felt helpless and got tired of constantly watching or hearing about the struggles that people are facing around the world without taking any objective action to make a difference. By the end of the event, we were presented with an opportunity, raise money and deliver it directly to them. Finally, I will be able to physically make a difference and observe exactly how it is that the money donated can positively impact their lives.
If I successfully raise a substantial amount of money, I will go to Jordan this coming summer, and deliver the money that you donate here directly to the Syrian refugees struggling to survive there. I will post updates and show you the families that YOU are helping with your donations. I will relay their stories to you and keep you updated along the way. Change starts now, and it starts with your donations. Please be part of this, and donate whatever you can.
Thank you for your support.

About the fundraiser
I'm an 18 year old student in London. Just like you, I've grown frustrated at seeing the humanitarian crisis in Syria. You can make a difference today. With the money that we raise, we'll got to Jordan to help distribute aid to the refugees inside and outside of the camp.
