A few months ago I attended an event called Empowerful, and during the event we were exposed to the realities that the Syrian refugees face. I felt helpless and got tired of constantly watching or hearing about the struggles that people are facing around the world without taking any objective action to make a difference. By the end of the event, we were presented with an opportunity, raise money and deliver it directly to them. Finally, I will be able to physically make a difference and observe exactly how it is that the money donated can positively impact their lives.

If I successfully raise a substantial amount of money, I will go to Jordan this coming summer, and deliver the money that you donate here directly to the Syrian refugees struggling to survive there. I will post updates and show you the families that YOU are helping with your donations. I will relay their stories to you and keep you updated along the way.
