Our names are Caitlin and Owain and we are two of a small group of Norfolk Army Cadets who have been chosen from our county to attend an expedition in February 2017 to Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the fall of Singapore and pay tribute to those from the Royal Norfolk regiment who gave their tomorrow for our today.

As of now, there are no other plans from the UK government to commemorate this anniversary, and so we will be paying tribute to the soldiers who fell in the Far East on behalf of the country. We will also be offering to leave tributes to fallen soldiers on behalf of local families whose relatives served and fell for their country.

However, to be able to do this we need your help to raise money to fund our trip. Aside from this page, we will be organising events such as car boot sales, sponsored challenges, quiz nights and cake sales. We're thankful for any donations we receive, no matter how big or small; we feel honoured to be given this opportunity to remember our local history and pay our respects to those who gave their lives either in battle or as prisoners of war and hope that you feel it a worthy cause to donate to.
