    Story

Zambian Teachers have for many years been exploited by loan sharks and Micro Finance Companies that are not owned by Teachers.

This has resulted in thousands of Zambian Teachers working for this loan sharks and Micro Finance companies that have continue to charge high interest rates and never encouraged any savings.

The Zambia National Union of Teachers decided to find a solution to this exploitation by forming a member owned and controlled Credit Union.

Hence the need for seed money to help start providing affordable loans to Zambian teachers.
