Due to Covid 19 we, like many communities, have been unable to hold our usual fundraising events in 2020. Having taken on the role as Treasurer for St Michael's Church, I was made aware of just how big an impact this has made and wondered how we could raise some money to go towards the shortfall. During lockdown I have tried to get out in the fresh air every day and managed it quite well during November so I have decided to do an "Advent Marathon". This is to walk the equivalent of a Marathon mainly around the amenity track at the edge of the village during the period of Advent. This translates as just over a mile a day, which may not seem much to most people but, given my various medical problems and restricted mobility, I have to undertake this using a rollator. I know that St Michael's will be grateful for any support you can give, be it large or small.
