    Story

This year will see yet another cull of thousands of healthy badgers. The government and some farmers blame badgers from spreading Bovine Tuberculosis. However, scientific studies have shown that along with rodents, deer and even earthworms. badgers are carriers and only around 2% can actually infect cattle. In fact studies have shown it is actually the cattle infecting the badgers which is why badgers do their best to avoid contact with cattle. The real reasons for bTB is poor bio-security and poor farming methods. Slurry filled fields and rotting corpses are a common sight on farms within the south west.
So once again badgers will pay with their lives for farmers and a government that refuse to accept the results of their own studies and the fact that in the supposed 'pilot' cull areas bTB has actually INCREASED by up to 250%.
We will once again be out 24 hours a day in the cull zone fighting this atrocity. We can't save them all but we'll do our damnedest to save as many as we can. £900 won't fund us for the duration of the cull but will be an enormous help and enable us to get as many people saving our brocks as possible. Thank you. We couldn't do what we do without your support.

Dear supporters, Thank you all for your generous donations. We have representatives working hard (spending your fuel money!) patrolling the badger cull zones as we speak. Saving badgers wherever possible. Your gifts will help us keep the vehicle moving night and day, with any unspent then being available to fuel us in the battle against illegal hunting closer to home too. Thanks again to you all North Cambridgeshire Sabs

Dear supporters, we hit our first stage of fundraising in days, that pays for vehicle fuel to get our people down into the cull zones and on the ground. Now that we've hit that, a stretch target of £500 will allow us to pick up extra equipment (memory cards, maps, battery packs, radios) to help us be more effective at saving the badgers. Please help in any way you can!
