I've raised £40000 to help fund a new play area for the village of North Nibley

The current play area located in the centre of the village adjacent to the Village Hall is roughly 20 years old. It only has 3 pieces of equipment which are only suitable for early years children.
North Nibley currently has a population of approximately 900 people with thriving numbers of children who attend the nursery, pre-school and primary school in the village, and then go on to one of the neighbouring secondary schools. The current play area is lacking in size and variety to meet the needs of the children of the village.
The need for an improved play area was identified by parents in the village and highlighted to the Parish Council at the AGM. Subsequently the Parish Council have set-up a sub-committee led by parents of the village in order to progress the project and ultimately provide a new play area.
The new play area is proposed to be located on the Jubilee Playing Field which will enable a far greater selection of equipment that will be suitable for all the children of the village. The Tyndale Monument will also be included in the design to incorporate the village's history and famous landmark.
The target of £40,000 is based on an estimate for 7no. pieces of equipment.
Below is a concept design of what it will look like. The size, shape and location on the Jubilee Playing Field is yet to be confirmed but the images give a good idea of what the aim of the sub-committee is.
Many thanks for your support!
