North Tawton Football Club are raising funds to purchase their current rented football grounds and facilities.

The land owner passed away which has resulted in the land going on the market. The field is registered as an asset of Community Value which enables the club to have the opportunity to purchase the field if funds can be raised. If we are unable to raise this money the field will go on to the open market and there will be no guarantee that any new owner will allow the continued use as a football field.

The football field provides a great area for fitness, but also giving a sense of community as so many people from the local area are involved in various ways. We have been tenants of this site for over 30 years.

We are now in the process of trying to raise the funds required to purchase the field. We have a number of fund raising events being organised which include a quiz night in the Town Hall and a sponsored cycle ride to be held within the town square which will involve members from the whole club taking part from the under 7's through to the veteran players.

However as time is very much against us we are seeking donations which will go towards the costs incurred to purchase the field. Any additional funds will go towards the purchase price and the ongoing maintenance costs.
