We are Northern Stars, a performing arts group based in Thornaby. Working with adults with learning difficulties and/or disabilities. We have over 30 performers who are a range of ages and have a range of needs. Through dance, drama, sign language and singing we have built a wonderful group of adults showing that nothing can stop them living their dream. That being said we are now fundraising to be able to give some of our performers a chance to join us in Liverpool for the awards night (unfortunately numbers are limited).

We are incredibly proud to announce that we have been short listed for a National Diversity Award which is an incredible achievement, with over 80,000 nominees and thousands of votes we made the list! This is a remarkable achievement and a true reflection of our championing, equality, diversity and inclusion.
