I've raised £500 to Help fund public engagement campaign activity for North Herts for Europe, a branch of the European Movement.

North Herts for Europe is a new branch of the European Movement, we were formed on the 1st February 2018. We cover four towns and many villages within our border. Hitchin, Letchworth. Royston & Bladock and our boundary mirrors that of North Herts District Council, so if you have a purple bin, you will be within our branch. Our mission is to give the public a final say on any deal or no deal on Brexit and to promote the importance of the European Union to the UK.
In order to achieve our aims, we need to reach out to business and community leaders as well as the wider public. While we are all local volunteers and contribute our time, we have no direct funding we can call upon to pay for the many events we need to organise in the coming months.
From social meetings, public debates, marches, items for the street stalls, community and business receptions to hiring venues of all kinds it all cost money. We are seeking support from people who share our aims, so we can be heard more in this vital period. We only have to March 2019 to ensure the public get the final say. It is not a long time, yet we are determined and committed to meet our goals.
If you care about the UK remaining in the EU and want to find out more about us, then do get in contact. Send an email to NHerts4Europe@mail We will shortly to launching our website, but you can also find us via our Facebook Page. Click this link. North Herts for Europe
We have set the aim for £500, it is a lot of money to us and value every penny. It will help greatly pay for some of the venues we need to book. We appreciate any donation, and nothing is too small. And on behalf of our Branch we thank you for any amount given.
