Story
The War Memorials at Cross and Borve are over twenty years old. A detailed survey carried out recently, discovered both memorials require extensive remedial work.
The cost of this work is in excess of £40,000 which the committee aim to raise through fundraising efforts and grants.
All money raised will go towards our fundraising target so that both memorials can be repaired and preserved, so that north Lewis war losses will be remembered by future generations .
